Company Validation Report
An independent validation report on the seller’s assets and performance in relation to its marketplace that justifies its valuation and potential for acquisition. Company analysis will include (where relevant): assets, strategy, brands, products and services, R&D and IP, markets and channels, customers and good will, people, management, processes, and systems.
The report is designed as an authoritative input into the company valuation process and will provide a fully evidenced account of the company and why it should be sold at a premium/ discount in relation to standard industrial/ financial multipliers. The report will also provide very strong indications of where acquisition interest should be sought.
Prospective Purchasers Report
A qualified short-list of purchasers (2-4), with justification for their selection. The research process is conducted in three phases:
- Analysis of the industry, its value chain, market trends and M&A activity will show us where to look (both within and without the industry) and create our 1st short list
- Analysis of the seller company valuation/ prospectus will tell us what to look for in terms of strategic, market, financial, operational, technological and customer fit
- Analysis of short listed companies in terms of strategy, leadership, acquisition history and financial/market performance will produce our final short list AND the supporting evidence as to why and how they should be approached.

Timing
Each report will be delivered within 10 days of receiving the relevant company documents and data. In cases of great urgency, reports can be delivered within five days.
